Hello! My name is Yuan, and I’m from China. I’ve been teaching languages for 13 years. Over the past two years, I had the opportunity to teach Mandarin at Portland State University.

I moved from a big city in China to a small town in the U.S., which reflects my passion for teaching and connecting with students from different backgrounds. I also have years of experience living in Canada and the U.S., so I understand the challenges students face when learning Mandarin.
