I was born in New Jersey and moved to Tokyo, Japan, when I was 4 years old, where I lived until 2021. Learning English and Japanese in kindergarten was a challenge, but over time I began to enjoy talking with my Japanese friends. I’ve always been interested in Japanese anime and video games and continue to engage in communities that share fun and interesting content to this day.

Before moving to Florida, I spent 6 years professionally teaching English to Japanese students, both kids and adults. This experience allowed me to adapt my teaching style to each student’s individual way of learning.

I’m easygoing and calm, and I always enjoy making jokes. One of my hobbies is drawing character illustrations, so I may even draw one for a student I meet!
