Dr. Karyn A. Koven founded LanguageBird to reimagine what online language learning could be. She holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from UCLA and has spent over two decades in education as a teacher, school leader, and innovator in student-centered learning.
Recognizing the limitations of traditional classrooms and early online language programs, Dr. Koven built LanguageBird to deliver rigorous, accredited instruction through live, one-to-one conversation with native-level instructors.
Under her leadership, LanguageBird has grown to serve students across 70+ countries.
