Practice Speaking in a Supportive Small-Group Setting

Chirp Room® Chat Rooms give students space to practice speaking with other middle schoolers while a native-level instructor guides the conversation. It’s the perfect complement to LanguageBird’s Core courses or classes at their school, and a great way to build confidence in a fun, supportive environment.
How Chirp Room® Chat Rooms Work for Middle Schoolers
Small groups of language learners at similar levels meet in a live video session moderated by a LanguageBird instructor. Students practice speaking, listening to peers, and building confidence together.

What to Expect
- Introductions and greetings
- Discussion topics may include real-life scenarios like ordering at a restaurant, giving directions, or talking about interests.Instructors may also incorporate interactive games to reinforce learning.

Who Chirp Room® Chat Rooms Are For
Chirp Room® Chat Rooms are offered when there is enough interest to form a group and are created based on learner requests. They are a good fit for:
Students who want more speaking practice beyond their regular lessons, either with LanguageBird or their current school
Learners building confidence in a new language
Students who want to connect with peers learning the same language, including friends or classmates who want to practice as a group
Anyone who wants low-pressure practice in a supportive environment
Note that credit, grades, and evaluations are not provided for this program type.

We form groups based on demand, so availability depends on current requests.
